"National Assembly Forum on ICM, Science & Future Planning“ held on May 22, 2013 at the National Assembly Library in Seoul. This half day forum was a big success, and draw more than 400 people to the National Assembly. The presentations and panel discussions in the forum clarified expanding roles of modern mathematics. Mathematicians and political leaders had a rare chance of reviewing the progress of the SEOUL ICM 2014, and discussing ways of leaping forward in the areas of basic science.
