Guidelines for Short Communications(Oral) Presentation

Dear ICM Colleagues,

This guide contains all the information you need to prepare for your presentation, so please read all the information carefully. Please check your oral presentation schedule, session code and presentation order with your name and abstract title on the website (http://www.icm2014.org/en/program/scientific/short) and please note that any changes to allocated session schedules will not be authorized.

• Language
All files should be prepared and a presentation should be given in English only.

• Presentation

• Presentation Time: 15 minutes
• Q&A Time: 5 minutes
• All presenters are asked to observe their presentation time strictly as assigned
• Presenters are requested to be in their session room at least 20minutes before the commencement time of allocated session.

• Audio-Visual Equipment

• The session room will be equipped with a master computer, which shall be used for all presentations.
• Presentations must be PCs compatible (It is easier to transfer Mac formatted files to PC formatted files than otherwise).
• We do not recommend presenters to use a personal laptop computer for presentation to avoid problems with computer-projector compatibility and to save time that would otherwise be needed for changing connection. If you are going to use your laptop or Macintosh, please advise so via email at abstract@icm2014.org in advance.

※ Black(White)board will not be available for your presentation.

• Presentation Material Submission

• Presenters are requested to confirm your arrival, deliver the latest version of your presentation stored in a USB, CD-Rom, and/or DVD to the preview room at least 24 hours before your presentation where you will be assisted by on-site staffs.
